We didn’t name this newsletter Wit & Wisdom by accident. All of us at Peppercomm know that humor brings a benefit to business, and Forbes just backed us up. According to new research, leaders who use humor the right way (read: not cringeworthy dad jokes) drive better performance, creativity and retention. When done well, humor isn’t a distraction, it’s a strategic advantage. So yes, your jokes can stay, just make sure they’re landing with your team, not on them.

Speaking of humor, KFC’s latest campaign pairs boneless chicken with some bonkers startup energy. Entrepreneur Anupam Mittal stars in a spoof of over-the-top business pitches, including one for a “Boneless Bot” that serves chicken like it’s defending a PhD. The whole thing is proof that food marketing (and humor) work best when they don’t take themselves too seriously. No bots needed, just good taste and a solid punchline.

Coca-Cola’s “Share a Coke” is back, and it’s bubbling over with digital delights! Personalized cans, QR codes, and a Memory Maker app let Gen Z sip, share, and sparkle both online and IRL. A new video with “Sweet Disposition” proves Coke is still the popular choice for making memories. With a nationwide tour and endless custom options, it’s not just a campaign—it’s a fizzual revolution. Coke’s recipe for real magic is still going strong—now with a side of techy refreshment!
